"Tenakee Wedding
Two years ago now I was asked to paint a picture of a subject very close
to my heart: The wedding invitation for my son and his bride.
I struggled mightily with that painting because no matter how hard I tried
(Over 30 preliminary drawings), how could I possibly convey the great joy
that I felt.
Now I am the grandmother of a ten- month-old baby girl and all my friends
are amazed I haven't painted her yet.
