"Waiting for the Ashes to Cool" I have a cabin in Tenakee, a community so small there is no garbage collection. Garbage is burnt on the beach so the bears don't get it . The instant a person walks away from the dying embers. however, ravens glide in and nosily stand around and wait for the ashes to cool on the remote chance of finding a good morsel. Rie Munoz
