This teenage Tenakee-ite has a summer job working on one of the large local commercial fishing boats. The background of the original watercolor painting was stenciled using a brass template. These templates were left over from the old days when wooden fish boxes were stenciled instead of having labels stuck on cardboard containers as is done today. Rie Muñoz
